Like a certain mercenary by the name of Winter Slayde. But even he will be the first to be surprised when the government offers him a special mission... a very special one. The science division has managed to send a probe into an infinitely distant future, right in the middle of the 32nd century. The data it sent back isn't exactly reassuring, showing that humanity has completely vanished from a landscape entirely overtaken by greenery. A deceptively calm Eden, where nothing remains but a few ruins of old human constructions. It's to determine the causes of this impending catastrophe that the Department of Internal Security will call on this hero of a very particular kind. Slayde will head off into this future, a thousand years from now, to conduct his investigation.
